GLUING LINE
Laminated logs and beams are made of smaller lamellae that are glued together. Our modern gluing line guarantees that all glue joints are of the first class, both in terms of durability and aesthetics. The gluing process starts with planing, which “opens” the surface of the wood, so that the glue can penetrate deep into the cell tissue of the wood. As a result, the glue joints are extremely stable, ensuring the high quality and longevity of our houses. The adhesive we use is a completely formaldehyde-free Swiss solution called Purbond. A Finnish Notified Body Finotrol Oy regularly surveys our production and grants us the permission for producing laminated timber.
