The Polar Life Haus factory uses the world’s largest log planer, which can handle up to 630 x 670 mm logs. The planer represents the world’s most advanced woodworking technology, and it is used in addition to planing logs for special work, e.g. for brushing logs. The planing finish is decisive in the quality of the log’s final surface. After planing, the surface of the log is smooth, and it is silky to touch.
