HELGA TRAKSEL
Helga Traksel’s (M.Arch/SAFA) path to becoming an architect has taken her from one side of the world to the other. When studying to become a construction engineer in 1992-1999, Helga travelled to the furthest corners of the world and worked at several architect offices in Holland and Australia. She completed her Master’s degree at the renown Academy of Arts in Amsterdam. Ecological sustainability and her love for nature have always inspired Helga to seek even better ways of combining nature and architecture without compromises.
In 2007, Helga started her own architect office HELGATRAKSELarchitect in Amsterdam, specialising in sustainable architecture and interior architecture. She settled down in Finland after sailing around the world for three years. Pure nature and harsh weather conditions are a daily source of inspiration for Helga.
“Our GreenHouse collection is not just a group of houses, but it condenses out strong understanding that living close to nature makes us happier and healthier.”
